Hernö Gin Cocktails
40 ml Hernö Gin
10 ml Maraschino liqueur
5 ml Crème de Violette
15 ml Lemon juice
Add everything to a shaker and fill with ice. Shake for about 10 seconds and strain in to a coupette. Garnish with a lemon zest. This one will be loved by everyone; it is herbal, fresh and well balanced. Add more of the crème de Violette and less Maraschino if you like it more.
20 ml Hernö Juniper Cask Gin
20 ml Sweet Vermouth
20 ml Campari
Add Hernö Juniper Cask Gin, sweet vermouth, Campari, mix everything in a stirring glass and strain into an old-fashioned or whisky glass filled with ice. Garnish with an orange zest.
Negroni, named after the originator Count Camillo Negroni from Italy, really is a bartender favorite. It doesn’t matter if it’s winter or summer, this will always work for you.
40 ml Hernö Navy Strength Gin
15 ml Sweet Vermouth
5 ml of Maraschino liqueur
2 dashes of Angostura Bitter
Pour in Hernö Navy Strength Gin, Sweet Vermouth, Maraschino liqueur and 2 dashes of Angostura bitter into a stirring glass, fill it up with ice and stir for about 10 seconds. Strain it into cocktail glass or coupette. Add orange zest to the glass after everything is poured in. Martinez is truly one of the classic cocktails to know. A perfect balanced mix of sweet Vermouth, Hernö Gin, Maraschino and Angostura Bitter. We just have one word for it: delicious.
50 ml Hernö Old Tom Gin
30 ml Lemon juice
20 ml of simple syrup
Add Hernö Old Tom Gin, lemon juice, simple syrup into a highball glass, fill the whole glass with ice, top it up with soda and give it a nice quick stir, garnish with a lemon wedge and a straw.
A legendary cocktail with a story. The Great Tom Collins Hoax of 1874 was a joke that went viral in New York and Philadelphia. It became a rage asking for the non-existing person Tom Collins and newspapers were printing stories about false sightings of him. A bartender caught on and gave a drink the name Tom Collins so if anyone was making this joke they had unknowingly ordered the drink.
60 ml Hernö Gin
25 ml Honeywater
20 ml Lemon juice
*To make honeywater, dissolve two parts honey in one part warm water.
Pour Hernö Gin, honeywater, lemon juice. Shake everything with ice for about 8 seconds. Strain i to a coupette or cocktail glass.
